On Becoming Childwise shows you how to raise emotionally-balanced, intellectually-assertive and morally-sensible children. It is the essential guidebook for the adventurous years from post-toddler to grade-schooler!
My husband and I not only followed the On Becoming Childwise principles for our own parenting, but teach this course at least once a year. We have seen marriages restored, families united, and out of control children come under the calming influence of self-control. In today’s society, that is quite the accomplishment.

Given the name of the course, “On Becoming Childwise,” I thought this was about my kids. Surprise, surprise. It turned out to be a needed reformation of my fatherhood. Thank you for such straight forward teaching. We have a new family as a result.

A Knowledge Center offers articles, short videos (Vid-Snips) and resources that provide quick, self-help online answers.
A Private Facebook group is an online forum where questions can be asked of Contact Moms and the wider Growing Families community.
The Personal One-on-One Support Center provides an opportunity to ask a question relating to your individual parenting circumstances. These inquiries will be directed to a designated Contact Mom, who will respond via email, phone or text based on your preferred method of contact.
A Contact Mom is an experienced Mom who is offers support and encouragement to moms. Contact Moms partner with Growing Families and are part of a user-supported non-profit that provides support, encouragement and parent education resources to families worldwide.
